Ice Skating Party

Photos and captions by Brenda Bosserman

The Youth, advisors and family members love to ice skate and made their first trip to the Charlottesville Skating Rink February 20, 2005.

Here's Amy Mowbray and

She's standing up!

Going slow and holding hands makes it easier.
It was a lot of fun but couldn't last forever.

Then in November, they went to the Rink again.

(After all, it is a Winter sport!)

Amy Mowbray with her friends. She tells us ice skating is a easy as roller skating.
Ashley Craig (in light brown coat) disagrees with Amy. She says "ice skating is harder because you have to balance your weight on a skinny blade."
Anthony Veronesi (in light blue coat) ice skates with ease.
Whitney Good (center) says both ice skating and roller skating are difficult if you don't practice and work at it.
John Bosserman and Hunter Botkin think ice skating is the best when you are "standing still."
Here is a group shot, except for John, the photographer, after an afternoon of fun.
