On August 21, 2005, the Youth, their
families, leaders and other church members launched their canoes at Jack
Bookhultz' home and embarked on a three hour jaunt down Middle River.

Sprinkle, led the way around submerged rocks and through the rapids.

The canoe trip ended at Port Republic and it was
time to eat.
Canoeing really builds up an appetite! What a
wonderful variety of food!
