Birthday Party for Jesus 2002

Under the direction of Donna Patterson, the annual Birthday Party for Jesus was held Sunday morning during the Sunday school hour on December 21, 2003. All Sunday school classes came to the party. The youth, Faith Journey’s class, and our 3 & 4 year old class took part in the program, “Follow the Star.”

	All the children are "stars" in the play "Follow the Star"
	The three wise men, Hunter Botkin, Trevor Lam and Luke Good, follow the star to find the baby Jesus
	The "Stars" find baby Jesus and hover over the stable where He lays
	After the program, the birthday candles were lit, we sang “Happy Birthday” to Jesus, and then the children blew out the candles. Everyone enjoyed cake, punch, coffee and a time of fellowship
